The Meadow

The Meadow

A Poem by Isaac Covarrubias

I walked on a wet stone path
I am in my sanctuary of peace for my spirit
Wild flowers of soft blue grow
They have life and bloom in the warm breeze

I listen to water song
Sweet, happy is my mind wandering like a cloud

Look as the sun light gently shines on green moist grass
blanketing all
this is my pure harmony

Calm and beautiful words, each and all, especially the ones directly above, They read like a contented sigh
