Near Twilight Pastel by Stan Sperlack
Near Twilight by Jack Ivey Royal blue a’ glow this night Majestic hues in tempered light Golden aura boasts its play In this end of day display Blackened sand now underfoot Dark as ashen chimney soot The distance calls o’ whence it flies Beneath the lustrous violet skies A sliver red does dance in place Reflections of a lasting space Like flames upon the charcoal sea Near twilight sighs with you and me Brought to distance counted dance Forth the amber lit romance Floating true in evened flight As this day does near twilight © 2013 Jack...Author's Note
