Gratitude

I miss ..... and I thank .....

When my life began as a new person

I was down and under everything

Sad and frustrated

You came and showed me something

That something was beyond what I expected

It was real and unwinding

What was it that I saw?

Not saw but felt a new feeling

I felt so connected and so contented

 

Time passed and I was renewed

I started to laugh 

I started to live for the first time

Thanks to that person

Who gave me a hand when I needed it

Who showed me a smile when he felt it 

Who showed me love he knew it 

 

After everything that has been done 

I thank that person 

Who turned my life around

Turned my frown upside down

THANK YOU
