Lady with a Vision

Lady with a Vision

A Poem by JRB
"

Revealing what she could not see clearly.

"

She glanced across the bridge of confusion
Noticing the shadow
Of an appending affection
Shimmering on the other side

For hidden in the mist
Shading its existence
In the fog of incarnation
Was her inner desire

How she wanted
The sun’s rays to dry
The mist from her landscape
Revealing what she could not see clearly

This beauty
That stood beyond her vision
But not her inner sight

Its name is justice
Its course is truth
Its reward is freedom

 This is what she saw
In the image reflecting back
Upon her
