Hungry

Hungry

A Poem by JRB
"

We all have a little animal in us

"

It was warm
And
The park was, filled with life
I saw her strolling
Thru the zoo

I watched as she went
From cage to cage
Feeding as she walked along
Casting her shadow upon my gaze
Catching her smile
Is a pleasure so sweet

And
Now she was leaving,
Heading for the exit
Not to feed any more

Oh how. I wish she were
Still feeding

For now
I am the hungriest
Animal in the park
I am the beast
That needs fed

Clever! I like the image I get from this and the message. As mammals, we definitely have a hunger in us, which can be many things. Excellent!
