Desert Honeysuckle

Like a climbing bush with twining stems
My love reaches out for yours
Wishing to be entangled
Within your flowering fragrance
Your vapors travel towards my being
Like air sweetened by desert honeysuckle
My voice is being carried
Thru the tubular offerings
With spreading twin-petal lobes
I offer my love, my soul
This delicate scent of life
Is yours
Longing to be seeded
The dream
Is created in you
And
Awaken in me

Keeping the dream alive, the request was to use the line
LIKE AIR SWEETENED BY DESERT HONEYSUCKLE
and the poem should show its imagery

Beautiful, very moving. stirs a lot of feelings within. If you like challenges, then may I suggest you try Haiku's. I'm sure you'd be excellent at them. I loved the poem Open's the eyes... sometimes if we set a limit to the amount of words we write, the end result can surprise us.
