My essence it remains unchanged

My essence it remains unchanged

A Poem by JRB
"

One must absorb and construct carefully The equilibrium within

"

If I accept the warmth of the sun
As I lay under its shinning rays
So too must I accept the rumbling and lighting
When it comes in the same waves

There is a balance for all
Everything has a negative or positive aspects
One must absorb and construct carefully
The equilibrium within
Them both

Rationally, logic, compassion, and emotions
All must be balanced and counter balanced
Whatever one encounters one must accept it
And
Continue thru

Pursuing truth to seek and accept
All consequences
Without thought
Of regret

I get angry at my karma
I do not have to like it
I just have to learn to accept it
And
Understand its passing

Without the opposite construct we would never appreciate the experience...if not for a cold, drafty dismal day, the warm fire in the stove would not have the same appeal. Without evil (within and without) we would not fully grasp the beauty of goodness in our life. Without loss, what is gain? And peace is the sweeter after turmoil. So it goes with everything............ liked this a lot.
