Your Eyes Speak

Your Eyes Speak

A Poem by JRB
"

The projections from your eyes lead me that way For that’s one of the behaviors I hear what you say

"

There are times when your words are not spoken
Yet thru your silence, nothing is broken
I often know what you were thinking
It’s the stare in your eyes that does the linking

That’s what gives away those thoughts to me
It’s the words in your eyes, to your soul I see
When you see something that I may not have seen
It’s as though I saw it thru your eyes in a gleam

The projections from your eyes lead me that way
For that’s one of the behaviors I hear what you say
And when you learn I learn as well
Even if it’s only from listening to you tell

Because I, as you are intertwined in this passion
We need not words to share our reaction
For no matter what language has written your name
Its translation will always be the same

The women with eyes that speaks not a word
Yet all around her eyes seemed to have heard
The love and truth that she perceives
Thru her eyes of confidence that don’t deceive

That’s why I love you and some of the reasons
Spring, summer, fall thru all of the seasons
They are as never-ending as my love for thee
Yet some of my characteristics just maybe

Though not my essence it remains unchanged
By the words you have spoken that your eyes rearranged
It’s the way that you look in your eyes I perceive
A life time of your love within this reality

this is so romantic!! I do believe that eyes are the window to the soul--they can say so much more than we can articulate.

This is rather beautiful! I love it (: It holds so much meaning, quite powerful really. I like the flow and rhyme, it could also be used as a sweet song. I could not stop reading!
I quite like these two lines,
'For no matter what language has written your name
Its translation will always be the same.'

Endearing. A enchanting way to express the depth of your love that draws the reader in. The eyes that speak without speaking.
A love that goes beyond mere emotion into the depths of a soul. To really know your lover is the most precious gift you can give them. Nicely done.

eyes reflect the soul...you can read a person through his/her eyes; "I often know what you were thinking
It’s the stare in your eyes that does the linking"-beautifully penned!

This poem makes me think to why I started writing in the first place all those years ago. Why I got interested in it. The beautiful flow of this, and the rhyming is mesmerizing. I love how you describe this. That girl must be very lucky.

Words so true to anyone. Love speaks in all languages. Sometimes it's as silent as a mouse, or chirping like a cricket, but it remains. No matter what.

Enjoyed reading this very much, thank you for the good writing. :)
