My Puppy

Along time ago longer than it may appear

I had a puppy with cute fuzzy ears

A sweet little thing with a loud little bark

A wide drooling grin and a big fuzzy heart

He had a coat of brown, black, and white fur

That shimmered and sparkled when the sun burned

He loved to play and run around

He hated anything that made a loud sound

He grew up big and strong

He was a good dog who never did anything wrong

He’s gone now, but I’m still here

And in my heart, he’ll always be
