Look At Me!

Something I wrote in my mid-teen years. An attempt at writing song lyrics, basically. I think it was in 2003 or 2004. What it's about is fairly obvious.

I watch you walk down the street,

You don't even look at me.

All day I try to catch your eye,

When you don't look, I wonder why.

I speak and you just look away

But I still think of you night and day.

I put on a show for you to watch

But you don't think that I am what you want.

All you want is what you see.

You don't even bother to look inside of me.
