Missing you everyday

This relationship is tough

When you are so far away.

What are you doing now?

How often do you think of me?

I go through my day waiting,

Anticipating the next time we will be together.

It is crazy,

This hold you have on me.

When you look at me what do you see?

It cant be what I see when I look in the mirror.

Only I can see this sorrow that I feel,

This pain I am surrounded in.

When you are near I cover it up,

Put on a happy mask and fake everything.

I am afraid to let you know me,

Afraid of getting hurt again.

You tell me you love me,

But some don’t think when they speak.

They say things without meaning.

I try to trust that your words are real,

Hope that they have feeling.
