Written 10:31PM on November 20, 2008. I felt very inspired and had to let it out in some way... Contemplating maybe writing music for this? Like... Vocal/Piano? I don't know.

Too much time has passed to dwell

But I might not be ready for a final farewell

Although, forever in my heart you'll be

And all the time I'll wish you were here with me

I need to move on and love someone new

Even if I will never fully get over you

 

Dear Michael,

I need someone to hold me tight.

Oh, and Dear Michael,

I need someone to love me for life.

Dear Michael,

I'm sorry but I have to let you go.

Oh, and Dear Michael,

You're the one who left, you know.

 

I'm finally okay with my forehead kissed

Even if sometimes I start to reminisce

I accept that what we had will never be again

But I'm happy as long as I still have my friends

You shaped my future, you always will

And true, I never did have my fill

 

But Dear Michael,

I need someone to hold through the night

Someone will make it all feel right

He will help me let you go

When you miss me, you left, you know

 

You had me once, but you left, so be it

I told you all of my secrets

But it's better to have lost than have to do without
