The Forbidden Life

I will set the birds free with little notes of you

And little notes of me

And in the midst of winds musicality,

I will plant my feet in the soil that connects you and me

 

So that no matter how high our heads fly

Or how deep our souls seek

You will still be you

And I will still be me

In our universe of three

 

The tether of here and there no more

The waves of our forbidden vessels settle with the ones on the shore

And love will once again be felt in the all earth’s core

 

The forbidden life no longer what it seems

As two divine souls finally meet
