People have all these expectations

Misconceptions

Misdirection

On how love is supposed to be 

Yet oddly enough

The ones who lie in bed every night

Dreaming of what this “love” might be like

Are always the one who plunge into a nightmare

When in the end, it’s their own heart that will tear

 

But I know better

The secret of love

It actually requires little thought

The cure to being in love

Is to not.

Don’t spend your time

Wishing

Hoping

Expecting

Everything to be perfect

Instead spend it

Believing

Knowing

Expecting

It will all go wrong

That love is definitely not a love song

 

This way

If you stay like a secret in the dark

No one knows you

No one cares

No one breaks your heart

This was good, and some parts i totally agree with you. However, u have to look on the bright side as well. U cant keep urself locked up forever. If u do, i think it will be hard for people to love and heal ur heart. But, keep ur chin up. Hopefully things will get better for u.

This is an interesting poem.

I'm sure I completely agree with it, because I think finding true love is about having your heart ripped out by the people who don't really care. That way you know what to look for and what not to look for.

Anyway, that's my point of view. And like I said earlier, what an interesting poem. Haha.
