My Happy Realisation

My Happy Realisation

A Story by jhumur

It's been an year perhaps since i last came across confusion about picking up words. I have almost stopped writing because i feel i am no more good at my thoughts. Need not say i felt like a trash at one point of time. Meditation and yoga don't work in good way always. It's been a long time when i last thought of a detour and self reading. But now i feel changes everywhere around and self reading has became my day to day work. I do it very often and i feel it's as important as sleeping.
So let me tell you from my personal experiences that why picking up words is so important and so difficult?

First: It's not about a good English.

Second: Life has no retakes. Once you do a thing, it's done! No recaps and No chances!

Third: You can't say you were not knowing while you said it or things influenced your brain! This is indeed a bad habit and i do confess. I have plenty of it. :(

Fourth: SORRY is the most exploited word in my dictionary. I am sure, there are many more who would agree to it.

Fifth: I often speak like a chatter box. In past, sometimes i missed reading a few words while chatting to someone or overlooked without an intention. But then i realized, listening is the most important part of a conversation.

Sixth: Texts and messages are our constant companions. Sometimes the person at the other end of conversation did not perceive the thoughts as you transfer. I have noticed the biggest failure from my side was the inability to process the exact thoughts using the exact words or exact emotions.

Seventh: Never ever conclude a talk from your side unless you are really patient, calm and a good listener. Never text if you are angry and can't control your thoughts (which i did). Take time, question yourself!

Often people at other end of conversation are your close ones, friends, family, siblings and these days prepaid, postpaid and texts are so cheaper. Do take care about spending word bank wisely else you may end up spending more on time and less on money! ;)

Courtesy: My friend Potua for being a wonderful listener. This note is an outcome of your patience. Thank you! :)
