A beautiful mystery

I wrote this thinking about many times I have gone through something and not knowing what to do or where to turn. I guess mysteries are meant to be just that; an unknown journey of discovery.

Ever wonder what the point is of a mystery,
Is it something we feel but may never see?
A lingering heart can confuse the mind,
And they say it will work itself out in time.
But how many times have you felt led astray
Without an answer, or a sign to make you feel okay.
Wandering down a road with that pit in your gut,
"Do I turn left, or right," it can take you to a rut.
Either way you turn, it's a decision you make,
Only hoping that you have not made a mistake.
There are many branches in the tree of life,
Some lead to joy, and some lead to strife.
But the route you choose to discover the light,
Will unfold a mystery and deliver you from night.
It may never by known, or seen or told,
But the beauty of the mystery is watching it unfold.

I read few poems in rhymes that expressed so fully about any complex subject.
I am so amazed to read it that I had to stop at places to enjoy the beauty of the content already read.
Confused about which portion of the piece is the most enjoyable,
I quote this portion which may appear almost half of the content.

This is a great piece, expressing the journeys through life and the challenges we face. Have you ever read the book "Oh the Places You"ll Go" By Dr. Suess? I know it is a children's book, but it was read at my high school graduation, and I read it from time to time when i get scared thinking about which path to take, and where I will end up. I guess you could say it is my manual for life's hiccups.
You will make mistakes and that is how we learn :) But don't worry - we all have :) Wonderful piece of writing here!
