My prayer

If I was to die tonight
God, would I be met or led by your light
Or would I be on my own
Lost from the throne without a home
Left to fend by myself
Without anyones love or help
Will I be in that world without a friend
Or will I be exahlted and God sent
Will you send me to mend someones broken heart
Or will I be left broken hearted in the dark
When I walk through the street will people cower and flee
Shall I be shunned cause of who I chose to be
or will you send me across a widows way
to help her get home safely that day
God, when I die will I see the light
Will I be rewarded with all your might
or when that day comes will I feel the need to hide
wishing deep down inside I could die
Lord, will you please help me to be the man you need of me
Help me to make a difference and a change
So when that day come, and the grave I find
I may be led home safely by your light.
