Empty

Empty

A Poem by Josh Davis
"

Written May 15, 2011 when I was dealing with some guilt over my past sin.

"

Cold hands, trembling knees

I come to you, on my face

I have nothing, I am nothing

My heart is bare, my mind numb

I need you, I want you

I feel nothing, I see nothing

My spirit is empty, I am broken

This does seem like how we feel when we feel guilt over sins we have done in the past, but I think it's a good thing that we feel this way because it makes us want to ask for forgiveness and start over and try to do better each and every day. If we didn't have this feelings or we forgot how we sinned then we would easily keep falling down the wrong path so it is good to remember so we know where we came from in order to help those that are still struggling also.

Great Job
