cimmerian dawn

cimmerian dawn

A Chapter by joshua deathdealer
"

08/2011 (Blood type B: Installment Six)

"
The snapping sounds of their bones
did very little to drown out the ringing
of the phone shoved in my pocket
the abrupt melody jars me out of my
horrific wonderland causing me to
pause in the moonlight that glistens
off my  d i s t o r t e d   bloodstained face
gasping the harassing device I toss
it away like a child would throw an
unwanted toy

All the things that once were mine
have died inside what was just a
beautiful dream, I've descended
into a cimmerian dawn, a futile
place of vanity and monstrosity
there will be no crossing over
to  s o m e w h e r e  divine, just an
endless existence of solitude
and slavery to the manifestation
that has taken over within

Its a dead new day

To me, this is your truest, most beautiful, pristine writing voice. I fell in love with you 32 times as I read this. Mostly bc I'm freakishly enamoured with poetic phrases of lyrical perfection and every word oozed the sounds of your creative divine brilliance. Nothing contrived or forced. I felt like I finally heard "you" here. My sense is that wherever you were mentally, psychologically, spiritually while writing this is the home of your authentic self....Your Kansas.....:)
