Loneliness

Loneliness

A Poem by J.P.O.et

A man sits aloft in his habitat of life.

Gazing out the window at the oncoming night.

He talks to the trees as if they are his wife.

Staring into the emptiness of a blue flashing light.

This got me to thinking.
For one, I love the idea of the man speaking to the trees with such adoation.
I loved this. Its shortenss means something other than just not being lengthy,
it means that with such breifness, you've stated so much.

Great, GREAT work.
Thanks again fro reviewing my work.

Keep up the good work, and keep the words coming.
Feel free to send me read requests, I'd be glad.

Befitting title. I feel it so strong in this piece it makes me ache for the man with trees for a wife.. and the image of him staring off into a blue light in the dark strikes me. I can almost picture him with a tear in his eye as the light flashes in his face. Simple piece displaying such a deep emotion. Lovely write.
