The Fairy Gale

The Fairy Gale

A Poem by Silburwolf

Ay I see the lassy sitting near the riverbend at break of dawn
The light of the day was brighter than before
The aura she emit different from many other lady
Her hair bright blue matched the gleam of the morning dew

Her voice that of heavenly tone as she played the birds flew
Around her they danced and the wind itself turned many a color
The grass moved as time itself appear to stand still
Not a move nor a twill she sang as I wrote this poem with a quill

The day passed and night came as the moon reflection shone on the lake
The lady finally saw me and giggled asking me why twas I there
I answered her and she stood there piercing mi heart with her stare
Her stare not cold softened mi heart as if love hadtaken part

She asked if I played an instrument to which I answer playing the flute
She then began to sing and teach me a new tune
The once loner and warrior I then changed to a bard
The fair lady giggled again as the look of her brought me from the suffering of sin.

She then disappeared gone in the wind.
