The Creeping Darkness pt.1

The Creeping Darkness pt.1

A Poem by Silburwolf

Sitting here after many years
I look in all the mirrors
One whom has many fears
Watches time passing by cannot even shed tears

The clock keeps turning as I here the gears
Trouble making decision thereof consult the peers
But all options seem out of reach
Can see the paths and possibilites

The creeping darkness shadows the sky
Looking towards the heavens desiring to know why
Everything looks impossible no matter how much I try
Trying to change but still trapped in a cage

But what if one does not know how to change?
Growing up each life is like a torn page
Page contains memory of times of old
Fragmented and foggy though what I remember times grew cold

Always been fearful never really bold
Definitions of friendship, love, and such I could read but never touch
Memories little of light many of dark
The creping darkness death seems to be the mark
