Cutters Poem

Cutters Poem

A Poem by Kaelani

Why does it bother you when you see
The blood flowing out of me.
It's not your pain
It's not your burn
It's what I do
It's what I yearn
Do you feel guilty at this point?
Or do you feel pity for me?
No it doesn't hurt that bad
It's just tears to wash the sad
It hurts at first
Then makes me smile
And all the while
It makes me cry.

Spoken like a true "follower"
You know so many people do not understand, and we can write, scream and plead as much as we can, they still won't understand. We need to bleed just to know that we are still alive. That is our comforting hand. Replacement of tears and through the years we will survive - only thing is, we are doing it our way!

The only way we know best!
Brilliant poem, something I think everybody should read!
