Looking at the stars I remember;

I am nothing.


I sit on this planet and suck oxygen.

Wake each morning and wish I hadn't.

Fall asleep each night with shame dripping from my eyes.

Dreaming things that I know cannot happen.

Living love without feelings of certainty.

Screaming at night when I'm completely alone.

Injecting a drug into my mind to ease the pain.

Failing everyone around me.

Drowning in pools of sorrow and depression.

Denying any proof of new resolutions.

Killing myself day by day and not caring.


One last time I will lie under the stars;

I am nothing.
