Everyday Love

Everyday Love

A Poem by SPINNING ON that dizzy edge

Everyday love

that's what I want

offered and given in return

smile for smile

hand in hand

give and take

hope and dream

heart to heart

Everyday love

that's what I want

doubled and valued in return

sitting close

fingers meshed

stories told

filled silence

affection answered

Everyday love

that's what I want

held and cherished in return

Complete

Unselfish

Real

Sweet

Neverending.

Maybe?

Me too!

I want what you want ... it sounds lovely to me ....
I really enjoyed this, appreciate the structure too.

Thanks for reading/ reviewing my little poem, "see me," I'm so glad you liked in. :+)

A heartfelt plight

That gets right to the point

and beats its drum thereafter

A mantra, a motto, a lover's plight

Personally, I can identify with this one =)

Enjoyed.

Kevin.

Sigh.... its what we all want when all is said and done and its what we are lead to believe in but whether it exists, I dont know, it certainly does for a time the question for me is whether it can endure without turning into those comfy old slippers...

Nice write.

Tis a wonderful poem and a noble desire. I can hear the longing in your words. I'd suggest adopting a dog. Men are pigs ... ask Siobhan, she'll tell you

I like that you wrote "myth" for your description...lol :) I often wonder if this kind of love is a myth. I really like the format, and the way this flows together so smoothly...Kudos! Kimberly

Isn't this what we all want? The kind of love that has a strong foundation and is honest. The kind of love that endures all things and gets through the rough spots. Beautifully expressed, Kath. Lydia
