WE ARE OUT THERE

WE ARE OUT THERE

A Poem by THE DAY DREAMER
"

This a tribute for all the homosexual and transgender people in the world, striving to be accepted in the society.We are all but,one.

"

Under the dead skies of the frozen night,
within straws and mud, clothed in dirt we reside;
We are breathing.

An endless war begins as the sun rises,
for our presence is widely  judged and resented;
We are listening.

Our voices may not be loud,
our actions are, but fearless.
Our dreams have touched the clouds,
the depth of our sorrow are, however endless;
We are crying.

They curse us for the bodies we choose,
for the forms we take;
for their sight is truly blindfolded
by status, greed and hate.
We are hurting.

Let this voice travel among the ears
of the deaf,
let our grief reach the the
eyes of the blind;
let their hearts feel our agony,
tearing our souls apart from inside.

We do exist, and we shall
do so with immense pride;
for we should have the need
to feel no shame,
for who we are truly inside.
