Forget about the pain

Forget about the pain

A Poem by Mickey

Forget about all of it.
Forget about the unwritten poems waiting to filled with the sad hallow words that come from that deep place inside of you no one else can see.
Forget about the broken engagements and the dying husbands and the lost children and the unborn babies waiting in the heavens for their chance to come down.
Forget about the wonders and mysteries and the realities and the endless questions that can never be answered.
Forget about the shallow beliefs and the misfortunes of humanity that continue to befall day after day.
Forget about the past and forget about the future.
Count your toes and count your fingers and smell the air and see the colors and feel the soft and feel the harsh and love and learn and forget because that's all you can do.
