The girl with the blue eyes

The girl with the blue eyes

A Poem by Mickey

I see her stare at me
her blue eyes piercing,
she looks so lonely,
so sad and cold,
my mother tells me i cant go.
I see her stare at me
her blue eyes bruised,
her hair not brushed,
her rags all torn,
her cheeks not flushed.
I see her stare at me
her blue eye begging,
Oh, i want to go to her so bad!
but my mother warns me
and makes me ignore her silent pleas.
I see her stare at me
her blue eyes filled with envy
she walks across the snow
to my small bedroom window
She taps it and says Hello.
I see her stare at me
her blue eyes filled with happiness and surprise,
as i take her hand and show,
her the world
she would have never known.

Unbelievably remarkable. The way you added each stanza changes the mood and shows the clear emotions that they're feeling. Some people are cruel and care for their own self righteousness. Great poem. It shows something new.

A poem with some good wisdom to be learn from the words. Hard for children to understand when another is homeless and have less. Too bad the adults couldn't keep the mind of a child. Be kind and share the warmth of a better world with the people who need assistance. I like the ending to the outstanding poem.
