A Girl Named Love

A Girl Named Love

A Poem by Mickey

What if love was a person?
Red haired, blue eyed, and short
Would she be angry
Or happy
Fierce
Or cursed
Would she twist back and forth
Get pushed down then rise up
because of her strength
that comes with effort and time
Does she ever feel so fragile,
and fades away just like that
Where does she go
the whole world would like to
know.
How does she balance the
desires and fears
all pushed together,
no one knows whats where.
And what about her-who is she
really? Is she
True, or
False.
Real, or
Fake.
Blind, or
Seen.
Or is she just a make believe.
Oh Love, why can't you just be
SIMPLE and CAREFREE?

Thank you:)
A very good poem. I like the many questions asked in the poem. Love should be fun and best days of a life. The ending is correct.
"Oh Love, why can't you just be
SIMPLE and CAREFREE?"
