They Don't Understand

They Don't Understand

A Chapter by FaeryQueen
"

on the spot; I, along with Margot, Lily, Mona & Ruby (Ray & Raymond as well, fairly, along with Blue)

"
seemingly
they decide against us
celestial beings
of course
with veins
within veins
of pulses
and pulses

the blood
it drips down the side of our heads
and our hearts
fail to beat as one
as it did before
but we
are slightly gaining strength
almost able to speak
to think
we live
only in her mind
we exist
as whole beings
orbs in the sky

they don't understand what it's like
to be a fragment of a mind
to think
regularly
and to have outbursts
often
to fall into holes
not even knowing that you've fallen
and then getting back  up again
never knowing you had to

*
we tend to forget
most things
even if they're important
we know
we look like liars
we like to lie
and hurt
and deceive
and hit
and punch
and kick

*
we don't

that's what most people think we like

we like to cut
to bleed
to die

we like committing suicide

we don't
it hurts
we have feelings
too

i don't want to
her screams are our pain

we must live with the constant loop of her voice

screaming

*
we deal with most things inside of this system she's created
she knows of us
and we know of her
but we don't notice
each other

*
at times
when ends must be met
and she's struggling
with herself
we come to her
in need
and in a state of poverty
because in reality
she is our queen
and we
her loyal servants
sometimes we play this game
of royalty
but it bores us
to loop our lives
around this single game

*
we are human
just like everyone else
but the state of everyone else
is not so
smart
wear of what you like
black dresses
skinny jeans
mini skirts
and plaited beads
you'll find its just the same
that
we
are
just
the
same

*
we are only human
we don't come from spaceships
or intergalactic settings
we come from
the most genuine form of technology
known to man: the human mind

*
with our knowledge
of possible extent
we may have come to terms with you
some while ago
but
the fact does and will remain: We are still
fragments of the human brain

*
humans, what can i say?
they are Gods mightiest of creations
but will they see
at the end of their own day?

This is really good, and very true.

I did not read all of your chapters, so the references to characters speaking was lost on me.
However, this is a very thoughtful and insightful poem. Sad and touching. Very appropriate title as well, they don't understand... So few of us truly understand.

Well written. Great poem.
