Interruption

Interruption

A Poem by ikibala222
"

This is a song/poem i wrote in 2012 dedicated to the Occupy Movement.

"
Interrupton,
can't get my work done.
guess i'll have to
set aside my life
for one more day.

Every morning,
when I wake up,
I get so angry
that I have to
face another day.

This medication
is abrasive.

I am a mental patient
locked inside a
padded brain.

I have a question:
Am I my own person?
Or am I just
 another number
working my life away?

The Constitution
has been polluted!
Our rights and values
are now owned by a
Plutocracy.

And while they're at it,
they make a FAT check!
The Banks are rabid and
They're out for every dime
They can get.

One solution:
REVOLUTION!
Harnessed frustration,
Occupation.
