Beautiful Fragility

Beautiful Fragility

A Poem by Kristin Lee
"

Family is so beautifully fragile

"

Beautiful fragility

Perpetually tangled

In the crook

Of (our) lies.

One more slip

And we could all die.

The hands of fate

Bound us all together

But, it would seem

We’ve been destined

To part the seas forever.

Beautiful fragility

Forever bound we stand

A family torn (apart)

By unmerciful hands.

Thank you for reading. Reviews are always welcome.

Family may not always be the strong, capable unit we wish them to be, especially in the face of great or recurring tradgedy. But good or bad, they are always ours...

Its absolutely beautiful, you capture the soul of a family that is falling apart. It made me think about mine and what to do to improve our relationship. Well done

Thank you very much.
Yes the family is beauiful..yet so fragile. The picture of the plants..a silent metaphor of how delicate we all are. People like plants require water and sunlight...not to mention love. The bonds of family is a complex thing of nature. Like animals we feel unconditional love for our offspring...most of us feel a certain sense of loyalty to our mates and friends. Yet...sickness...lies....circumstance...all of these things can rip a family apart like a forest fire.

Wonderful wonderful poem...really fine work!
