Far away - revised

Far away - revised

A Poem by kurohana

My phone on hand,

Waiting for your calls,

Eager for us to talk, waiting for the time to stall.

Days, weeks and months passed,

Thousands of miles between us.

Seconds, minutes, hours,

Time ticking as I continue to yearn for you.

You’re so far away.

Alone and drinking a cup of coffee in our favorite café.

My love, these pouring feelings I want to convey.

I am badly missing you.

If only you have a clue.

The sound of your voice on my telephone,

Love was clearly shown.

Words are not needed

For your actions are never cheated.

I like how it conveys the hours of waiting for a call from that special someone and how love can travel even over a thousand miles. I really love your poem.
