Darkness

Darkness

A Poem by kurohana
"

Will you controll your darkness or allow it to swallow you?

"

Staring blankly,

Mind running wild as it is chase by demons.

Demons I am fully aware of.

Demons I recognize as my own.

Malice poured as it whispers in my ears.

Chills run down my spine for the words I hear

Darkness, blood and chaos

Creeping up on my soul and tainted it.

Looking up and saw my reflection up front.

Eyes as dark as night,

Sweet but malicious smile plastered.

Reflection I didn’t recognize.

“Who are you?”

Dark laughter echoes the silent room.

Smiling widely and a glint appear in its eyes.

“I am you and you are me”

Yes the demon could look like us or perhaps it was only us. Nicely written poem. Keep it up.
