Light

Light

A Poem by kurohana

Silence embraced me,

Darkness kissed me deeply.

Cold is the only thing I felt.

Envy, the only emotion remains.

Eyes wandering in the darkness,

Hoping to no longer be heartless,

Craving for warm and kindness,

No longer care begging, and be shameless.

Tired of the cold and emptiness,

Wanted to break free in this endless void,

Help! Someone, help me!

Silence, no response as tears fell.

Body shivers as cold catches me.

Losing hope, but then it appears.

Small lights slowly penetrates the darkness

Warm spreads like fire.

Once not knowing what warm is,

Now little by little the ice is melting.

Emotions are peeking,

And once again I am living.
