Twilight's Real Name

Twilight's Real Name

A Poem by Laura E. Aranda

Twilight’s sensual silhouette murmurs sweet embracing adieus without being heard

Her aroma clandestine like bloody petals

Windswept across oceans of tear stained feathers

Withering in the iridescent raindrops that only Twilight can succumb to

Whisper visions of depth and star dusted hopes…whisper to her fading image

Thrust bouquets of future desires entwined with a kaleidoscope of blissful dreams to her

Shower her with kisses that lock her to the ground...find out who she really can be

Sweep her doubts away with the tenderness of earthy realness...who is she

Look beyond the silhouette….ah, there she is!

Twilight has another name

"Whisper visions of depth and star dusted hopeswhisper to her fading image" - nice imagery.

"Sweep her doubts away with the tenderness of earthy realness...who is she
Look beyond the silhouette.ah, there she is!
Twilight has another name" - great way to end this.

i thought you did a great sort of abstract look at twilight and loved how it could apply to a person, concept, perception, etc etc. you kept it loose and painted with stars.

Very soft and tender with such deep sexual desire... I really liked that a lot.

Very nice, words flow softly and clear off the page. The poem has a calming effect.

Enigmatic twilight.

Emblematic time of day: in-between sunset and full night, or full night and dawn.

This in-between zone yearns for the palpable sustenance of dawn, or the velvet pleasures of night.

Blood and tears, flowers and feathers. . .twilight lost and found aglow.
