It will be hard

and it won't be much fun

it'll seem impossible

to keep moving on

but the waves will still churn

and the stars will shine

crickets will chirp

and finches will fly

and the grass will be green

sunsets will glow

there'll always be the sun

and always be snow

people will shift

but some things won't change

hang on to the familiar

to keep you sane
