Breathe In, Breathe Out, Rain

I'll let the rain soak my hair,

rinse my thoughts away

as drops run down my skin

like marbles

electricity will tickle between my bones

I will feel alive,

smell the air,

breathe it all in,

love this world around me

that throws temper tantrums with loud cracks of thunder

and tears of fresh water

I will hear the sky scream within me

and feel its relief

and feel the clarity

breathe in, breathe out

rain
