Just Fog

a sonnet

You think fog is just fog

But it is so much more

It’s like a lonely dog

Wondering what’s in store

Fog creeps in every street

It’s filling every crack

It’s grabbing at your feet,

And pushing at your back

Whispering in your ear

Its secrets, fables, tales

So far away and near

In its voice hidden trails

Making you glance behind

For something you won’t find.

Amazing sonnet.
Its abab cdcd efef gg rhyming is sooooooooooooooo sweet!
The lovely imagery makes me very happy.
Don't want to isolate any line for the whole piece is a fragrant flower.
