Musings

A Poem by Shannon Bailey-Quesenberry

Sanity is in itself a travesty,
For insanity is an easier time and place to dwell in,
I enjoy every moment I am allowed to wallow in it!!!

Swimming in the abyss,
Never getting anywhere,
Drowning in your own-self,
Yet thriving on thyself.

Nitpicking in my brain,
What do I find there you ask?
Dungeons with corridors in an endless maze.
And a few trap doors.
Halls that lead to nowhere and simple passes that lead to wondrous things.
Doors that drop off into the abyss.
Hmmmm...seems like you better be ware if you want to get into my brain.

Love the madness in your imagery here.
Flowed so easily, kind of like insanity..
Very good write...
