Deception

The dark is consuming my mind
Fogging my vision
My body feels like its ripping apart

The rain falling from the sky,
pelting my face like ice
My clothes soaked with water
and tears as I wept

I fell to my knees
like a rock hitting the ground,
but none of it matters,
none of the physical pain I feel
can compare to the gut wrenching feeling

 consuming my heart and my mind

All the lies, all the broken promises
that I once thought true,
piercing my heart
like daggers tearing through silk

My world comes crashing down at my feet
All of the the betrayals, the lies, the deception,

all of the the bitter sweet promises
dragging me back into reality,
dragging me from the life I once knew,
from the life I once loved

All of it

Bleeding me dry,
suffocating me from the inside

 
My agonized scream tears through the silence of the night,
echoing my thoughts and my heart

For all to hear, for all to feel,
to know

 

my pain..
