Like I Could

Like I Could

A Poem by De'Anna
"

another lyric.

"

Standing here next to an endless ocean,
Listening to the sounds of:
waves crashing,
sea birds calling,
children playing,
the wind howling.
And it feels so good.

You make me feel like this,
Like i could fly,
Like i could be so much while being so little,
Like i could touch the moon and hold it in my hands.
You are my own.

Standing on the mountain top,
Watching the harvest moon rise above the clouds,
Listening to the whistling wind,
Tasting the bitter cold, yet it is so warm.
And it feels so good.

You make me feel this way,
Like i could walk on water,
Like i could take a seed and grow a tree,
Like i could sing so loud and clear.
You are my only one.
