Solitude

Solitude

A Poem by Linear
"

A place of rest

"
A place of solitude, alone from this world
is the where i long to be

Alone to ease my pain
to heal my wounds and one day
to be free

Solitude is my love
she waits for me, calls to me

I long to hold her close
to feel icy breath at last
send shivers down my neck,

Rest will one day come, and in the arms of my solitude
I must surrender
close these ears to all this constant thunder

It is hard to find alone-time sometimes. It's kind of beautiful though, this is a really nice piece. And I particularly love the second verse. Good job!

I like solitude. Hard to find in this life. I like the desire and feel to find a quiet place to figure what we may do next. I like the strong ending. A outstanding poem. Thank you.
