In Loving Memory

In Loving Memory

A Poem by Linear

In loving memory of a dream
now shattered
A fantasy, yet lucid dream
of such beauty

That I dared to believe
even in a solitude like this
Would bear a fruit
so divine

A taste of heaven
that was beheld
but was never to be given

Beautiful and breathy in its fluidity. Short and sweet in flavor. And yet I can't help but believe that you have given up on the dream all too easily. We have learned many things as humans, but the one thing we still struggle to cultivate is patience. The dream does not elude you, you've given up your end of the bargain to search for it. Beautiful, breathy work.

I know those moments a little too clearly these days. This is full of emotion. what we wouldn't give to have a moment of bliss with the person who is priceless in our eyes.
