Seed

A Not dark poem. YAY! Inspired by the picture.

A tiny child

Curled like a seed

Waiting for the right time

Waiting to be freed

A person inside that tiny frame

A person more than a face, a family, a name

Nurture, love, but give it room to grow

And that person will soon show

Unique, beautiful, a petal face

Cradle it gently don't use a smothering embrace

A child, a seed, a person, a flower

Light, love, water and rain

A flower that does not need to be changed

So let them grow

Let them be free

A beautiful flower

Watch you will see

I really enjoyed this poem. The picture is really interesting, and I think that the poem relates to it and expands on its meaning very well. The poem overall feels very upbeat and hopeful, but the last four lines are especially fantastic! Thanks for the great poem!

You seriously write great poems. This one made me smile because of the mention of flowers. I love flowers and I also love the smell of great smelling flowers, of course. Some have a putrid odor. Though..there was one mistake I saw. Line five, "A person inside the that tiny frame.."

"The" is not needed in the line lol but as I said before..you're a great writer.
