Fading

Fading

A Poem by lostsoul

I lost myself in it. I have fallen again. The razor cut through my skin as I felt relief. Twice in one week, I have fallen. It seems as if this fight isn't for me to win. If something cannot be fixed, then there shouldn't be time wasted on it, living in a delusion of ability to fix it. What is broken, is broken. Don't try to fix what is lost because you will lose yourself in it too. And that would be a shame. It would be a shame to lose a good soul because the world needs them. There is too little of them. So, go, be free. Time will pass, it will fade away just as I am slowly fading away.
