Thoughts

A Poem by Mary

Thoughts

My thoughts float in the air

They slid right over your head

You are oblivious

They make a murky pool

And I watch as they mix with others

Oh how I wish your thoughts were mine

If they were could I know you?

Would we share more than just time,

Never talking

Oh how I wish you were mine

Much like your thoughts

You are unattainable

So close

But miles away

In another pond.

Well I feel that all i can say is that to puts this in perspective if you share thoughts you would learn stuff that they didn't want you to know so I think this poem is alittle off balanced.

I love how you get to the point quickly but extend it to continue through the poem. I love this stanza:

Oh how I wish you were mine
Much like your thoughts
You are unattainable

Great poem
