Yo still mine

Yo still mine

A Poem by luviva
"

This is just wt u make it to b

"

You are still mine

No matter wht you have
Become.....
Almost unrecognisable to me...
But you are still mine
As long as u r still in ma
        Reach.

the cries of your people are louder than ever
their wails have become songs to their daily life.
but they dont care, all they care about
is themselves and their rumbling
stomachs.

the once beautiful scneries
all gone, forests cut down to make land for agriculture
the natural richness you offer mother,
all ignored because of their greed for
money.

the people are dying, diseases allover
the flesh on their bones is no more than
what can feed a cat.
because their own land is ripped from them
by the greedy, corrupt
officials.

a land once peaceful,
the pearl of africa..no where to be seen
all we can see now are the deserts
sprouting up here and there.
all in the name of
money!

but you are still mine
no matter what you have become
yo bred and fed me until noow
you are my mother
 and iam your
daughter!

you will be mine forever
no matter what they make of you
because its the land
that i grown
seeing.
