the monster within

yeh this is just about politicians, and their greed for money though not all of them, basically african leaders.

   it lives within them

so hard to feed

however much they try.

 

it's needs exceed their supply

that they end up depleting

whatever their eyes land on.

 

they would rather take out what is ment

for their children's education, feeding the family, upkeep,

whatsoever that is in their sight and reach. only to meet the

demand of monster.

 

when it sounds the alarm

threatening to break free from their private

cases to the public

they tremble.

they prefer to keep it hidden away

 

as the money continues to mysteriously disappear.

as the facilities also continue deteriorating in quality

the common man continues

suffering. but they rejoice amidst all of it.

their secret is safe and they continue swindling the money

only thinking of " FOR GOD AND MY STOMACH"

instead of "FOR GOD AND MY COUNTRY"
