Simple

This poem describes the way I feel and the way I go about writing, poetry writing , in particular, but most importantly about living life, itself.

Simple

 

Simple.
Strive for simplicity.
Don't stretch authenticity.
Use one word ‘stead of two,
not five when two’ll do.
'twill ease my brain
if you’ll only refrain
from being too smart.
So, just ’fore we start,
let's make a deal,
and keep it real
simple.

I will now write you a complicated review of this, hahahaha. If only it WERE so simple! The fact is, it is, isn't it? If you boil it down. It's just what it takes to get to the boiling point! This is fantastic because the idea of not stretching authenticity is what KEEPS it simple. And that's brilliant! Ok, I used five words instead of two ... sorry, but I'll keep this in my mind for next time. :)
